How do I create and manage message templates?
With message templates in Instaffo, you can standardize your communication with talents, save time, and avoid mistakes. This article shows you step by step how to create templates, edit them, and use them in the application process. βοΈ
Finding your templates
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select "Settings".
- Go to "Message Templates".
Here you can create new templates or edit existing ones. π
Creating a new message template
Step 1: Create a template
Click on "Create New Talent Feed Template" (plus symbol).
Step 2: Enter title and message
Enter a clear title, for example Backend Dev Talent Feed Request.
Write your message and use placeholders. Instaffo will fill these in automatically.
Here are all the placeholders you can use:

Managing templates

- Click the pencil icon next to the template you want to edit
- Update the title or message
- Save your changes

- Click the trash icon
- β οΈ Important: Deletion is permanent
Using templates in the application process
- Go to the "Applications" section
- Open a talent's profile

- You'll find your saved templates in the chat area

- Click "Use" on the template you want

- The text is automatically inserted and placeholders are replaced πͺ
