How do I deactivate a job posting?

The position is filled or needs a quick break? No problem, you can manage your jobs easily in your job overview. Here we'll show you step by step how to do it and what exactly happens. 👇

📋 Your job overview

All jobs are displayed as cards, including the number of applications.
On the right side of the card you'll find:

• Edit
• Preview
• Three-dot menu (⋯)

👉 Click on the three-dot icon to open the menu.
Select "Deactivate job posting" to hide the job or deactivate it completely.

✅ How to deactivate your job posting

1. Give us quick feedback

Let us know what your experience with the job posting was like.
➡️ The feedback has no impact on the deactivation, but it helps us improve the platform further.

2. Select a reason

Choose from the dropdown, for example:
"I currently have enough applications"

3. Choose a deactivation option

You have three options:

• 🔕 Hide

  • Job will no longer be shown in matching
  • You can continue to actively recruit through the talent feed

• 🚫 Deactivate

  • No new applications
  • No access to the talent feed
  • Existing applications remain

• ⏳ Automatically reactivate after 7 days

  • Job is paused for a short time
  • After one week it will automatically become visible again

💡 Pro tip

• Want to take a quick break? Select Hide or 7-day pause
• Job is permanently filled? Deactivate is the right choice
